Welcome to Weizzar Lan.

This is a place where you will learn more about the weizzars from Myanmar (formerly Burma), who they are, what they do and about their path and practices.

Let me tell you at the outset that weizzars are not mysterious beings. In fact, Buddha himself is the greatest Weizzar of them all.

The word weizzar is a Burmanized version of the Pali word "vija" which means "knowledge and wisdom".

Weizzars begin as ordinary human beings in search of knowledge and wisdom. Some of them live close to the human world, helping those that need help in their individual search for truth and wisdom. Some of them live in remote places (like the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas), some are Bodhisattas (those who have made a vow to become a fully Enlightened being called the Samma Sambudth.
